WHAT IS CROSSFIT?
CrossFit.com states CrossFit is "constantly varied, high-intensity functional movement". For us this means everyday we will be doing different exercises ranging from weightlifting to body weight gymnastics. All this with the end goal of being able to use your fitness outside of the gym such as playing with your kids or hiking a mountain on the weekend. At the end of the day we want to provide you with a strong healthy life.
WHAT IS THE MAINSAIL FOUNDATIONS COURSE?
Aimed to provide you with a solid understanding and a strong foundation of movements you will see in class. Our Foundations course all starts with a Free Intro Session where you will meet with a coach 1 on 1.
WHAT'S A TYPICAL FOUNDATIONS SESSION?
A typical Foundations Session will closely mimic what a CrossFit class here at MAINSAIL CrossFit would look like. Working with a coach 1 on 1 you will go through a dynamic warm up, review/practice new movements as part of your strength/skill work, and finish off the session with a workout. These sessions are a great way to slow down and really get comfortable with the movements and ask lots of questions!
HOW LONG IS THE FOUNDATIONS COURSE?
The Foundations Course runs for 30 days in which you will have 4 private 1 on 1 sessions with one of our coaches. As soon as your 4 sessions are complete you have full access to our group classes for the remainder of the 30 days. For instance, if you get your 4 private sessions complete in 10 days, you jump into class for the remaining 20 days.
AFTER I COMPLETE FOUNDATIONS WHAT'S NEXT?
After the 30 day Foundations Course is finished you will meet with a coach to go over and review the past 30 days. During which you will discuss how the private sessions went and how classes may have gone. You will also talk about your personal health/fitness goals. From here you can choose one of several membership options that fits your needs the best!
HOW MUCH DOES THE FOUNDATIONS COURSE COST?
Foundations is a one time payment of $220.00. This payment allows for 4 private sessions as well as any protentional classes you may attend after the initial 4 sessions. After the 30 days you can sit with a coach and discuss your goals and which membership options fits your needs the best.
